After 46 years of living in the same house on a septic system we hooked up to the city sewer system. The biggest step in converting to public sewer systems is finding the right plumbing company to make this happen. After extensive research and interview/estimates it was abundantly clear who was most qualified and cost effective-Kempton and Self. Although we never worked with Kempton and Self, it was the very best choice for a plumbing company in all of Alachua County. They put in all the lines in one day and Cory returned by himself on a cold wet early Saturday morning (because of a late inspection by the County on Friday) to back fill and cut clean-outs. Kempton & Self were recommended to us by a neighbor that had a great experience with them. We had a water leak show up on a Friday and I called and spoke to them and they moved around appointments so that they could address and evaluate the issue same day. Mario and Mike came out to our house and were super nice--as a young female I was advised by neighbors not to have plumbers over when home alone but I am thrilled to say that they made me feel very comfortable. They ended up recommending a water leak detection company and then came out again on Monday to re-evaluate. We had other plumbing companies assess but Kempton & Self by far made the most effort to diagnose the issue thoroughly and provide an accurate and detailed quote. They completed the work in a timely manner the same week and were also kind enough to help me install a showerhead.
